A Family Business We are a family owned and operated business, and have been at our present location since January of 1994. Our Auctioneers are Ray, Brandon, Bo, and Deborah Webster. Ray graduated from Missouri Auction School in 1965, but has been auctioning since the ripe old age of 12 (at that time anyone could conduct an auction in the State of Alabama without license). Ray served two terms on the Alabama State Board of Auctioneers and was Mayor of Gu-Win, Alabama, for 18 years. Following in his father's footsteps, Brandon graduated from Missouri Auction School in January of 1994, four months before he received his diploma from Marion County High School. In August of 1996, Brandon was elected Mayor of Gu-Win making him, not only a third generation mayor, but also the youngest mayor in the United States. He has since been reelected for his third term. Deborah, Ray's wife, graduated from Missouri Auction School in 1997. Brandon and his wife Dusty has three children a boy named Colton, a little girl named Abby Caroline, and baby Slade who was born on September 29, 2008. Colton will be attending 6th Grade and Abby 2nd at Guin Elementary. Destry "Bo", the younger of Ray and Deborah's boys, has joined the business full time. He is a graduate of the Alabama School of Math and Science. Bo was elected to the city council of Gu-Win, where he works with his brother the mayor. He has also graduated from the Missouri Auction School in 2002 and is a licensed apprentice auctioneer under his mother. |
